I'm a senior full-stack developer with 11 years' experience, based in the Midlands, starting out as an apprentice back in 2015 and working my way up through agency, in-house, and freelance roles since. I've always leaned toward the frontend side of things, caring about how an interface actually feels to use as much as whether it works, but I'm just as comfortable architecting a backend or untangling a gnarly infrastructure problem. My preferred stacks these days are SvelteKit and Vue, though I move between React, Laravel, and Statamic depending on the project. Outside of client work, I'm the kind of developer who ends up building tools for myself because I couldn't find one that worked quite the way I wanted.
